Mental Resilience is an upstream skill that can be developed through focused training and practice. Our programs effectively train participants in the power of present moment awareness to improve mental health, optimize tactical performance, & reduce stress-based injuries.
RMP was developed out of programs and research from sports/performance psychology, resilience science, lifestyle & behavioral medicine, and mindfulness studies with high reliability organizations like the US Navy Seals, USMC, FDNY, Miami-Dade FD, NBA, NFL, Fortune 50 companies, and healthcare firms.
Emergency Service Professionals routinely experience repeated exposure to traumatic events and stress which negatively affect physical (cardiovascular, immune, digestive, neurological), emotional (depression, anxiety, trauma) and psychological (cognition, attention, self-regulation, relationship) health. There is scientific evidence that mind-body resilience training can help buffer against the onset (or help relieve) some symptomology of Post Trauma Stress which may be characterized by flashbacks, depression, anxiety, negative or suicidal thoughts or actions.
Participants in RMP have reported the following benefits:
